| Free | There will be a car show with any type of custom or classic car, truck, or motorcycle. Food trucks, 50/50, DJ, Chinese Auction, as well as prizes and trophies for top 3 car show winners, and Ecan's Best of Show award. Also new this year will be a kids car show where kids can show off their bikes, power wheels, wagons, etc. Kids Trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. In addition there will be an optional poker run, in which participants can pay a small fee for a play sheet, and travel to various businesses in the immediate area and collect playing cards to try and get the best poker hand and win a prize upon completion of poker run. About T.J., Wayne and ECAN. ECAN stands for Esophageal Cancer Action Network and is organization that is ECAN’s mission is to save lives by increasing awareness about the link between Heartburn and Cancer, promoting early detection, supporting medical innovation to prevent, detect, treat and cure Esophageal Cancer and link patients and families to compassionate support.T.J. is my father, and last year he was diagnosed with Esophageal Cancer, and as of now he is cancer free. Wayne is my late Father-in-Law who, unfortunately, lost the same battle a year prior. So I began this event to honor these two hereos, as well as the other suvivors and those still fighting. | |
