Description
This is a true muscle car!! I have the original bill of sale (dated September 13, 1969) with the owners warranty card. I am not even going to tell you what it sold for new. It was sold in Kentucky (where there is no road salt). I looked a long time to find this one. When I bought her, she had 45,000 original miles, and no rust! I have pictures to document this statement. The car was stripped down and two gallons of acrylic primer was applied. There is a base coat and four coats of true candy red, followed by two coats of show clear. This beauty will knock your eyes out. The paint is unbelievable. At car shows this car will actually jump out at you. This car is flawless and is polished and buffed to show car finish.
The engine is 351 Windsor. It has forged pistons, punched out 20 over. Balanced and special rods and cam specifically for the BDS blower application. The heads are also unique to the application for the BDS blower. It is a brand new crate motor. It has two 850 Edelbock carbs. All new from the factory, with blower. Motor has approximately 500 miles. It has MSD ignition and chrome everything. The motor is dynoed at 650 HP.
New everything inside! Seats, carpet, dash pad, headliner, steering wheel trim moldings...the works!
The transmission is a Ford 4-speed top loader. New from Rockland Stan gear in Sloatsburg, NY. The transmission has approximately 500 miles.
The rear is new, also limited slip traction with new 350 gears.
The mags are one-of-a-kind custom-made by Saline. They are COBRA GT mags retrofitted for this particular car 16". The tires are as big as they can be. There is no room to fit any more tire there. The tires are new Nito racing drag tires.
There are too many new parts to mention. New bumpers (front and rear), new spoilers (front and rear), new back window louvers, new chrome door handles, new chrome gas cap covers, new tail lights, new marker lights, new back-up lights, new extra large exhaust with flow masters, new rotors and discs and brakes, new torsion bars (front and rear), new racing shocks (front and rear), new sub-frame for extra reinforcement, special chrome engine supports for the blower modification, new Hayes shatterproof clutch plate and bell housing, new center force clutch, shatterproof racing parts, tire rod ends, new headers, new extra large aluminum radiator with the highest CFM with automatic temperature activation.
I could elaborate more about this car, but you should have a good idea of the quality by now. Pictures do not do justice, it is ten times better than pictures convey.
